The goal
The site aims to meet the international standard WCAG 2.1 at level AA. The Israeli standard IS 5568 is based on the same guidelines.
What was done
Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the item in focus is always marked. Headings, tables, lists and buttons are built so that screen readers announce them correctly.
Text and background colours were measured for contrast in both the dark and the light look. Hebrew pages run right to left throughout. Movement on screen stops for people who turned motion off on their device. The pages can be enlarged to 200% and stay usable. Nothing on the site has a time limit.
Every chart has a short description, and the numbers behind it appear as text next to it.
How it was checked
An automatic check runs on every page, in both languages and both looks, at phone and desktop width. A keyboard pass is run on every page. The last check was on the date at the top of this page.
The site has not yet been tested by people who use a screen reader every day. Automatic checks find only part of the problems.
Known limits
Images made by the share button are pictures of text. The same information is on the page as text. Videos and posts on other sites are outside our control.
